Carbon Futures

CARBON FUTURES MISSION

With a keen understanding of the current trends in carbon financing opportunities worldwide, Carbon Futures does not follow the pack. Our innovative approach to locating large volumes of hidden industrial emissions has yielded a diverse portfolio of projects entering development.  This takes our team to countries on the very frontier of the expanding carbon markets.

Working alongside an experienced international team of CDM/JI specialists, fund managers & energy industry consultants, we are continuously assessing high-yield CER/ERU projects in which to invest. Predominantly, these projects exist in areas previously overlooked by the more established players.

By leveraging substantial private equity participation from our network of preferred partners, Carbon Futures is able to sidestep the laborious, (and often time consuming), process of taking good projects to the traditional carbon markets in order to try and raise funding via an Emission Reduction Purchase Agreement, (ERPA), with an unknown third party.  In most instances, a subsidiary of Carbon Futures will act as the purchaser of the emission reductions, by entering into an ERPA with the project developer, thereby expediting implementation.

Carbon Futures assists corporations and government agencies in addressing their carbon emission reduction policies, (voluntary & mandatory), by advising them on the most equitable pathway to realising significant additional revenue streams, whilst achieving full compliance with existing emission reduction commitments.

HOW CAN MY COMPANY PARTICIPATE?

Many companies operating in both the industrialized and developing world can participate in the carbon neutral revolution. Your company can profit from their exposure to this emerging market in one of two ways:

a). Partners in industrialized nations, (UNFCCC Annex I Parties), can invest in sustainable emission reduction projects in the developing nations, allowing them to share in the favourable rates of return involved with the creation of carbon credits.

b). Corporations & governments in the developing world, (UNFCCC Non-Annex I Parties), can nominate polluting locations in their region that would benefit from an internationally financed emissions reduction scheme, participating in the financial rewards available to each project stakeholder.

Annex I Parties please click here to contact us regarding future project participation in UNFCCC certified carbon credit projects.

Non-Annex I Parties please click here to nominate a polluting operation that requires external finance in order to reduce carbon emissions.
